Ariyapala Mask Museum

This historical center is intended to bring into the lavishness of the veil convention of Ambalangoda and to reinforce this social heritage.The gallery, the workshop and the little library (containing all available anthropological writing on covers exhibitions) may fill in as a middle for customary expressions and makes and for examine too.

The Karava individuals (fisher group) living in the western and south-western seaside zones of Sri Lanka have built up an awesome assortment of social traditions. The south-west drift territory, es-exceptionally Ambalangoda is especially notable for its covers plays and customs that are performed on different accasions. Among these exhibitions there are two popular ones, the Kolam Maduwa and the customs to remove abhorrent devils which cause ailments.
