Flood Plains National Park
Flood Plains National Park is one of the four national parks put aside under the Mahaweli River improvement venture. The recreation center was made on 7 August 1984. The national stop is arranged along the Mahaweli flood plain and is viewed as a rich sustaining ground for elephants. Flood Plains National Park is viewed as an elephant hallway for the elephants move amongst Wasgamuwa and Somawathiya national parks. The recreation center is arranged 222 kilometers (138 mi) north-east of Colombo
