Henakaduwa Purana Viharaya is situated in the Southern Province in Tangalle in Sri Lanka. It is a stunning Buddhist temple which is quite famous. You will be able to attend sermons and other religious activities that are held by the Viharaya. These are attended by a large number of devotees from around the country also you will be able to see beautiful statues and paintings that depicts the various positions of Lord Buddha. The paintings are done very glamorously on the walls of the Viharaya.
Go on McCallum Road and go on Colombo – Katunayake Expressway. Continue onto Southern Expressway and you have to take the exit from the Beliatta interchange. Turn left onto Beliatta – Walasmulla Road and turn right onto Tangalle -Beliatta Road. Then turn left onto Colombo- Wellawaya Highway to reach your destination.
