Kallady Beach is the charmingly peaceful beach all people are finding for. It is situated in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. It is a 40-minute drive away from Pasikuda and it is separated by the Batticaloa lagoon. It is as soothing as it could be for your tired body and unrelaxed mind.
Kallady Beach is also among the cleanest beaches in Sri Lanka. It is less crowded and the ideal place for people to relax. From here you can see the beautiful sunrise and also in the morning you can see the fisherman coming to catch their daily catch of fish. You can go on snorkeling and diving in Kallady Beach but it is not completely safe for swimming just like the other beaches. The waves in Kallady Beach can get considerably rough making it a bit risky for novice swimmers but if you trust your swimming skills and you are an experienced swimmer you can try your hand at it.
You can visit this place throughout the day but the best time to visit is from the morning until the evening so that you can witness the beautiful sunrise and the breathtaking sunset.
Go on McCallum Road and T. B. Jayah Mawatha to Maradana Road. Take Colombo – Katunayake Expressway. Take Veyangoda Road, Ekala – Kotadeniyawa road to Ambepussa – Kurunegala – Trincomalee Highway. Then follow Ambepussa – Kurunegala – Trincomalee Highway and take Elahera – Giritale Road. Go on Trincomalee Highway to Saravana Road in Kallady. Go on Saravana Road to your destination.
Head south toward Trincomalee Highway. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Bar Road. Turn left at JRS Super Mart onto Saravana Road. Turn left at the Fishermen Ware House to reach your destination.
