Kondagala Mountain is situated in Galaha in Sri Lanka. It is the first tea plantation estate in Sri Lanka and this place is quite a famous spot that is visited by many people in Sri Lanka.

Kondagala Mountain is situated in the Central Province in Sri Lanka. It is also known as the Loolkandura Estate. This is a very beautiful place that is situated right behind James Taylor’s Cottage. This is quite a popular hiking spot that has a 300 meters hike to reach the top of the mountain.
Hiking in Kondagala Mountain
Kondagala Mountain is a great place to hike. People from all over the world come to this place to go on a good hike. When you hike in this place you will be able to see beautiful views from the surrounding place. This is quite a unique place because during sunny days it would be burning hot and on rainy days it will be extremely cold. On misty days you will not even be able to see the person next to you which is why you should be careful because you might even fall off the cliff.

From Colombo
Go on McCallum Road and continue on Colombo – Katunayake Expressway. Take the Outer-Circular exit and turn right onto Colombo-Kandy road. After 3.6 km turn right onto Doluwa road and turn left onto Wariyagala – Illagolla Road.
Then turn right onto Galaha Road and turn right at Loolkadura Tea Estate onto James Taylor Road to reach your destination.
From Galaha
Go on Deltota Watha Road toward Galaha Road and turn left onto Galaha Road. Then turn right at Loolkadura Tea Estate onto James Taylor Road to reach your destination.
