Lunugamvehera National Park
Lunugamvehera National Park in Sri Lanka was announced in 1995, with the aim of securing the catchment territory of the Lunugamvehera supply and natural life of the region. The national stop is an essential environment for water winged animals and elephants. The catchment region is crucial to keep up the water levels of the five tanks in the down stream of Kirindi Oya and wetland attributes of Bundala National Park. This national stop likewise fills in as a passage for elephants to move between Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park. The national stop is arranged 261 km (162 mi) southwest from Colombo. In the wake of being shut as a result of the Sri Lankan common war, the national stop is presently open to the general public.
