Things to do in Marakolliya Beach
You can engage in activities like swimming, diving, and strolling on the beach. At night you will always be able to see turtles laying eggs that are worth watching. There is only one restaurant on the beach thus the food options are less. But the backside of the beach has a few good restaurants which you may like to try.
Reaching the destination
From Colombo
Go on McCallum Road and go on Colombo – Katunayake Expressway. Continue onto Southern Expressway and you have to take the exit from the Beliatta interchange. Turn left onto Beliatta – Walasmulla Road and turn right onto Tangalle -Beliatta Road. Then turn left onto Colombo- Wellawaya Highway and turn onto Kapuhenwala Road then drive to your destination.
From Tangalle
Go on Colombo- Wellawaya Highway and turn onto Kapuhenwala road to reach your destination.
