Parrot rock is a small island along the Mirissa Beach. The beach is incredibly easy to access and gives you a stunning view of the beach. The place is built with a very relaxing ambience that helps you take your mind away from work and stress. Even if you are in rush to reach somewhere else down south, take about 5 minutes of your time to visit the beach. The parrot rock is located to the left side of Mirissa beach.
There are plenty of buses that go along the coastline that stops very close to the beach. When you are on the sandy beach of Mirissa you will be able to see a small island viewpoint. The viewpoint is directly connected to the beach on which it gives the benefit to walking up the flight of stairs. However, during times of high tide, the pathway between the beach and rock gets buried by the salty waters will make you need to walk in knee-high water, well yes you will get wet but if you come in the morning around 7.00am onwards it would be a great time to enjoy with the low tides and along with the amazing morning sea breeze.
