Sri lanka Air Force museum

The Sri Lanka Air Force Museum (SLAF Museum) is the exhibition hall of the Sri Lanka Air Force, and its forerunner, the Royal Ceylon Air Force. Open to the general population, the historical center is at the SLAF Ratmalana and is kept up by the Sri Lanka Air Force.

The brainchild of Air Chief Marshal Harry Goonatilake, previous Commander of the Air Force, the gallery displays, in addition to other things, previous flying machine and gear of the SLAF and the RCyAF. Eminent things incorporate the decorations and sword of Air Vice Marshal E. R. Amarasekara, the principal Ceylonese Commander of the Air Force. The exhibition hall additionally has remainders of Japanese flying machine shot down finished Ceylon amid World War 2 and antiques from the LTTE air ship shot down amid the Suicide Air Raid on Colombo. An Austin Fire Fighting Vehicle and a Shorland heavily clad auto utilized by the Sri Lanka Air Force is shown too.
