Bundala National Park

Bundala National Park is a universally imperative wintering ground for transient water flying creatures in Sri Lanka. Bundala harbors 197 types of fowls, the feature being the more prominent flamingo, which move in vast herds. Bundala was assigned an untamed life haven in 1969 and redesignated to a national stop on 4 January 1993. In 1991 Bundala turned into the principal wetland to be pronounced as a Ramsar site in Sri Lanka. In 2005 the national stop was assigned as a biosphere hold by UNESCO, the fourth biosphere save in Sri Lanka. The national stop is arranged 245 kilometers (152 mi) southeast of Colombo.
