Fisheries Harbor, Kudawella is situated in Kudawella in Sri Lanka. It is being handled under the supervision of Ceylon Fishery Harbours Corporation and it is situated close to the Hummaya Blowhole. A large number of boats are attracted to this place and it has a vast basin area.

Things to see in Fisheries Harbor, Kudawella

You will be able to see people going on fishing and it is recommended for you to wear closed-toe shoes and for ladies, it is better to cover up yourself to stop drawing any attention. Here you will be able to see various types of exotic Sri Lankan fish and some of these fishermen go on two-three week trips to get fish that is enough for a long time.

Reaching the destination

From Colombo

Go on McCallum Road and go on Colombo – Katunayake Expressway. Continue onto Southern Expressway and you have to take the exit from the Beliatta interchange.

Turn left onto Beliatta – Walasmulla Road and take the 2nd exit onto Colombo- Wellawaya Highway. Then turn left onto Kudawella Road and turn right onto Rev. Vimalajothi Road then go on Harbour Road to reach your destination.

From Tangalle

Go on Colombo- Wellawaya Highway and then turn left onto Kudawella Road. Turn right onto Rev. Vimalajothi Road and go on Harbour Road to reach your destination.
