Kandetenna Reservoir is situated in Galaha in Sri Lanka. It is a very calm and beautiful place which is a must-visit for all those who visit and plan to visit Galaha.

About the destination

Kandetenna Reservoir is located in Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka. This is not a very famous place but it is quite a stunning and calm place. You can visit here and ease your mind from all the stress you have been enduring throughout the week. This was renovated back in the 80s and this is a great place to have a soothing bath.

Reaching the destination

From Colombo

Go on McCallum Road and continue on Colombo – Katunayake Expressway. Take the Outer-Circular exit and turn right onto Colombo-Kandy road. After 3.6 km turn right onto Doluwa road and turn left onto Wariyagala – Illagolla Road.

Then turn right onto Galaha Road and continue onto Wadiyagoda Road to reach your destination.

From Kandy

Go on Baladaksha Mawatha and turn right onto Getambe Kandy By-Pass. Then turn right onto Keppetipola Road and turn left onto Hantana Road. Then turn right onto Galaha Road and continue onto Wadiyagoda Road and your destination will be on your right.
